X-Training

Improve your fitness and strength - burn calories!

Resis­tance train­ing for all of the big mus­cles groups with a mix of core /​abdom­i­nal work and car­dio con­di­tion­ing. Classes are aimed at devel­op­ing strength, endurance, speed and core sta­bil­ity. A wide vari­ety of equip­ment is used includ­ing ket­tle­bells, dumbags, med­i­cine balls, power bags, ropes, dumbells etc. Suit­able for all fit­ness lev­els, lots of options available.

A TYPICAL CLASS

xtrainrope1. X-Training begins with a warmup that uses big, simple moves that will get your body moving and your muscles ready for the workout.

2. Your instructor will then motivate you through the main workout (it's always a surprise!). Workouts will focus on speed, strength, power, endurance, plyometrics, agility + more. You will use a variety of equipment including your own body weight, sandbags, battleropes, kettlebells, medicine balls etc. X-Training is a class designed to challenge all fitness levels and to get you training harder, to get fit, fast.

3. Stretch your muscles to finish the workout and help reduce muscle soreness and assist your recovery.

WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING WITH YOU

xtrain1Wear comfortable workout clothes which allow ease of movement and grab some comfortable gym shoes for your feet.

Apart from that bring a water bottle and towel - you're going to get sweaty!

LEVEL OF FITNESS

X-Training is suitable for everyone! You determine the level of weights you are using and all exercises are scaled to suit your individual fitness level.

Men and women, athletes and newcomers can do the class together as everyone can work at their own level and recover as needed.
