A short, effi­cient work­out; designed to get you results, fast! HIIT (High Inten­sity Inter­val Train­ing) at its best! 20 sec­onds of work, fol­lowed by 10 sec­onds of rest — repeated 8 times. Get a fast, total body work­out that will improve your strength, power, speed and burn big calo­ries. Lots of dif­fer­ent exer­cises and equip­ment types. Includes body weight exer­cises, ket­tle­bells, sandbags, powerbags, med­i­cine balls, dumb­bells and more!

A TYPICAL CLASS

20secs1. Tabata begins with a warm-up using simple cardio and bodyweight exercises, to get your body moving and starts to introduce your muscles to the workout.

2. Your instructor will then motivate you through the main workout that's designed to improve your strength, power and agility. You will rotate through a variety of exercises and use many different equipment types; blasting your way through the major muscle groups. Each set of work will last for only 4 minutes. 20 seconds of work, 10 seconds of rest x 8. 

3. We finish with a stretch for your hard worked muscles!

WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING WITH YOU

tabata1pplWear comfortable workout clothes which allow ease of movement and grab some comfortable gym shoes for your feet.

Apart from that bring a water bottle and towel.


LEVEL OF FITNESS

Tabata is fun for everyone! You determine the level of weights you are using and all exercises are scaled to suit your individual fitness level.
Men and women, athletes and newcomers can do the class together as everyone can work at their own level and rest as needed.
