A Kickboxing based workout using kick-shields, pads and boxing gloves. Cardio Kickboxing is designed to improve your cardio fitness, while strengthening and toning your entire body. Great fun and an awesome stress relief. No experience required, suitable for all fitness levels!
A TYPICAL CLASS
1. You'll begin by warming up your body and learning all the basic boxing punches and kicks that will be used throughout the class.
2. Your instructor will then guide you through the main workout which is made up of a variety of kickboxing based drills (switching pads and gloves with your partner as you move through the class). You will get a great cardio workout, plus strength work for all of your major muscle groups (especially your legs!). We've got all of the important areas covered, and we guarantee you will feel the kickboxing burn and have heaps of fun along the way.
3. Abdominal and core conditioning, followed by a stretch for your hard worked muscles!
WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING WITH YOU
Wear comfortable workout clothes which allow ease of movement and grab some comfortable gym shoes for your feet.
We supply cotton inners, boxing pads, boxing gloves and kick shields. If you have your own boxing gear that you're comfortable using, bring it along.
Apart from that bring a water bottle and towel.

Old hands and newcomers can do the class together as everyone can work at their own level and all exercises can be scaled to suit your fitness level.
