Cardio Boxing classes use pads and gloves. A Cardio Boxing class also incorporates other fitness and strength based moves with core conditioning. An awesome total body workout with a high calorie burn. Great fun for everyone. No experience required!
A TYPICAL CLASS
1. You'll begin by warming up your body and learning all the basic boxing punches that will be used throughout the class.
2. Your instructor will then guide you through the main workout which is made up of a variety of boxing based drills (switching pads and gloves with your partner as you move through the class). You will get a great cardio workout, plus strength work for all of your major muscle groups. We've got all of the important areas covered, and we guarantee you will feel the boxing burn and have heaps of fun along the way.
3. Abdominal and core conditioning, followed by a stretch for your hard worked muscles!
WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING WITH YOU
It's a great idea to wear comfortable workout clothes which allow ease of movement. Grab some comfortable gym shoes for your feet.
We supply cotton inners, boxing pads and boxing gloves. If you have your own boxing gear that you're comfortable using, bring it along.
Apart from that bring a water bottle and towel - Cardio Boxing will make you sweat!
